- Prep the door
Like all surfaces, it is best to prep your door with a primer first. This is to ensure that you have a smooth surface to work on and to enhance the adherence of the paint. Use sandpaper to sand the door if required.
- Start from the hinges
Ensure that your paint strokes are done evenly from top to bottom – begin from the side of the hinges and paint towards the direction of the door knob. For a flawless finish, it is best to have 2 coats of paint.
